How to vote if your ballot has not yet arrived

Butler County Democrats — A number of ballots in Butler County are undelivered due to issues within the USPS. If you requested a mail ballot but have not received it yet, you have several opportunities to ensure your vote is counted.

Request a replacement ballot in person.
If you’ve already requested a ballot but haven’t received it, you have the right to request and return a replacement ballot in person at the county elections office: 124 W. Diamond Street, Butler, PA 16003.

The elections office is open:
   — Oct. 28-30, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
   — Oct. 31, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
   — Nov. 2, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Vote November 3rd with a provisional ballot.
If you’re not able to claim a replacement ballot in person, you may still vote with a provisional ballot on Election Day. To do so, please go to your assigned polling place and ask for a provisional ballot between 7 AM and 8 PM on Tuesday, November 3rd.

Request home delivery by a Deputy.
You may request a Butler County Deputy to deliver your ballot IF you’re physically incapable of traveling to the polls or county elections office. To do so, call 724-284-5308 or email

To ensure this option remains available to those who need it most, please do not request delivery unless you have a medical reason or are at high-risk of illness, per CDC and state guidelines.

Already received your ballot?
If you’ve already received your ballot, the information above does not apply to you. Please mark your ballot, seal it in the secrecy and return envelopes, and complete and sign the Voter Declaration before returning it in person to your county elections office.

We do not recommend returning your ballot by mail after October 27th, as it may not be received in time.
