Perhaps no elected official in Butler County exemplifies a commitment to service quite like Kevin Boozel, who in addition to his work as a County Commissioner, is a certified firefighter and EMT with the Harrisville Volunteer Fire Company. Elected to the Board of Commissioners in 2015, Kevin’s first term was defined by his work to refashion county government from the bottom up, and he visited nearly every township and borough in the county to learn firsthand how they could best be served.
In Harrisburg and Washington, D.C. Kevin is a fierce advocate for his home county and has secured millions in state and federal funding for regional infrastructure projects and community education and workforce training initiatives. He was recently elected as First Vice President of the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania (CCAP).
Prior to holding office, Kevin was a Resident Initiatives and Special Projects Director at the Housing and Redevelopment Authority and the Director of Catholic Charities. Kevin’s two sons proudly serve in the military, and he lives with his wife Renee on several acres in Harrisville.
